Feed The Children Liberia is a non-profit organization established in Liberia for the sole purpose of alleviating children from the state of hunger and building their foundation in God’s word. We believe in the scripture: Probers 22:6 – Train up a child in the way that he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
We believe most of the problems facing our world today started from the early state of the upbringing of the children. Many homes failed to build their children foundation in God’s word. As the result of this, they are carried away by peer pressure into doing wrong things as they grow up. Sometime even the communities in which they find themselves or associations they have, affects their morals negatively. Considering this, FTC Liberia seeks to give these children a foundation that is rooted in God’s word according to the scripture “Proverbs 22:6.”
We have also realized over the years that many children do not have a proper meal which has caused a deterioration in their abilities to play, concentrate, and even develop healthy bodies. As per the statistics carried out in Liberia, many people live on less than dollar per day. This simplifies the fact that many families find it difficult to give their children the proper meal they should have to grow healthy and stronger. Some of which are single mothers, without an income, just living by daily labor. Because of this difficult state of survival, they are unable to cater for the children’s daily meal.
